Barnstable County Department of Human Services
Developed by the Department of Human Services, this site is a comprehensive guide to Health and Human Services on Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket and offers information ranging from healthcare and housing to emergency food and job training.
Barnstable County Registry of Deeds
At this site the public has full access to the same records available to anyone using the computer search screens at the Registry of Deeds building in Barnstable Village.

The Division of Professional Licensure is an agency within the Office of Consumer Affairs and Business Regulation. Here you can check on the license of Massachusetts’ professionals, including dentists.
Massachusetts Emergency Management Agency (MEMA)
MEMA is the state agency responsible for coordinating federal, state, local, voluntary and private resources during emergencies and disasters in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

The Archives Division of the Secretary of the Commonwealth’s Office is the repository for Massachusetts’ records generated by state government. Archives holdings date from the beginning of the Massachusetts Bay Colony in 1628 and document the settlement of lands in Maine and Massachusetts, the arrival of immigrants, and the development of state government. Healthfinder is a free gateway to reliable consumer health and human services information developed by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. The site’s core function is the eligibility prescreening questionnaire or “Benefit Finder.” Answers to the questionnaire are used to evaluate a visitor’s situation and compare it with the eligibility criteria for more than 1,000 Federally-funded benefit and assistance programs.
