The Endowment Fund
Though the Brewster Ladies' Library receives support from the Town of Brewster, it has relied on residents' personal gifts of money and time to enhance its stature as a privately managed free resource for the town.
The non-profit Brewster Ladies' Library Endowment Fund, Inc. was established to develop and maintain a capital base for future extraordinary needs that cannot be met by the town's contributions.
With the help of your estate or tax advisor, you may choose from several types of planned gifts. Depending on the type of gift you choose, you may increase your current income and gain tax benefits. At the same time, you will have the satisfaction of knowing that you, like generations of Brewster citizens, have generously helped to perpetuate this proud symbol of the community.
If you would like to discuss how you might best participate, the Library Director can refer you to an Endowment Fund trustee. However, before you make a decision regarding a gift to the Fund, you should discuss the full legal and tax implications with your estate planner.
