Brewster Ladies' Library Association Board of Directors

November 2007 - Brewster, MA

The Brewster Ladies' Library Association is seeking candidates to join the Board of Directors.  Candidates must be members of the Association, and should be year round Brewster residents.

The Board meets once a month throughout the year, but Board members' responsibilities are far-reaching beyond attending meetings.

The Board of Directors, four officers and eight directors, nominated and elected by the Association membership, govern the library, set policies and are responsible for long-range planning. Each director also chairs or serves on one or more working committees.

Directors are elected for an initial 3 year term and may be reelected for a second term.  Nominees are voted on at the Association's annual general meeting in July.
