The Brewster Ladies' Library Association

Old reading roomThe Brewster Ladies' Library is the free public library for the Town of Brewster, and is governed by the Brewster Ladies' Library Association (BLLA), a private non-profit corporation. It is managed by a Board of Directors elected by the membership of the Association.

The Association annually funds (in part or in total) about 25% of essential expenses, including programs, maintenance, collections, publications, technology and more.

The BLLA is currently over 1000 strong. This group provides the Library with financial aid, through membership fees and fund raising efforts.  All members receive a newsletter, The Library Update, in the mail, participate in electing the Board of Directors, as well as having the satisfaction of supporting a vital institution.
